Weird but true - Automation S*cksssss for Instagram Growth

Been playing around with a LOT of different strategies—both for my own business and my clients on Instagram.

And you know what? AI is everywhere. Everyone’s talking about how it’s the magic solution.

“Don’t do things yourself! Automate everything! Save time!”

AI can supposedly handle captions, content ideas, engagement, even patient communication. So in theory, you just sit back and watch your follower count explode, right?

Except…

That’s not what actually happens.

I still write my own posts. I still reply to DMs. And every time I let AI do it for me, it sounds exactly like… well, a robot.

Which makes sense. Because it is a robot.

Don’t get me wrong—AI is great for some things.

But it’s absolutely terrible at building real trust with people.

And let’s be real, that’s exactly what you and I need to do if we want to attract clients on Instagram.

So here’s what I’ve been testing instead…

I know this might sound wild, so maybe sit down first.

Instead of automating everything, I’ve been making Instagram more personal. More real. More human.

And guess what? It’s working great.

Turns out, people actually enjoy talking to a real human. They want to feel like they’re connecting with an actual person, not just another sales pitch. And if you’re a dentist who shows up in a way that’s relatable, helpful, and real? People notice. And they trust you.
